Who
I am Robert Peterson. I'm a web developer living in Portland, Oregon. I've been hacking around the internet since 2001, and I've been doing it professionally since 2008.
Using TDD/BDD is a practice I enjoy to the fullest. Cucumber, Rspec, Shoulda, factory_girl...they are all godsends. Tools such as Pivotal Tracker are some of my favorite ways to stay on top of things.
Lately I've been dipping my toes into the world of Clojure, Erlang, and NoSQL (specifically MongoDB and Redis). I try to stay as informed as I can about emerging languages. We work in a field that changes by the hour, not staying up-to-date is detrimental. Plus, it's super awesome and fun to learn more and more each day.
